I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle (Austin, TX) in Apr 2024
Interview
I applied on April 29 through a friend's referral link. I received an email to schedule an interview on April 30. Communication was a bit sporadic since I never received a response to that email.
My recruiter called me unexpectedly on May 9 for a casual chat. On the phone, we scheduled my first phone interview for May 13. This was a 30 minute interviewer with the same recruiter. At the end of this call, we scheduled my final interview super day for May 23. This was with 2 managers. The first part was a behavioral interview, the second part was behavioral + mock sales call.
To prepare for the mock sales call, I watched YouTube videos and reached out to LinkedIn connections who work at Oracle for help. Approach the mock sales call with consultative questions and active listening skills.
I received my verbal offer on May 29 and my written offer on May 30.
The recruiter and managers were all friendly and well-informed. My only complaint was that I wish I had known my interview dates more ahead of time.
Super ambiguous but not super intimidating. Had to do a mock sales call but if you prepare you're fine. Multiple rounds but very low stakes. They also placed a lot of emphasis on using the STAR method.
Standard interview process with very basic questions. First interview is with a recruiter and second one is already final round with a quick mock call. You are interviews by 2 managers back to back

Interview
Very straight forward process, got reached out within a couple days of applying to schedule a screening interview and from there had the initial interview which is just a zoom call
