I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at PLAYSTUDIOS (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Aug 2021
Interview
The communication before the interview was quite bad with her. She had to delay/cancel 2-3 times before the actual interview.
The first interview (and the last one) was with the HR in Tel Aviv. She first took me for a round to see the entire office and we even had a pause for her to chat with some employees, the whole thing took about 10 minutes.
The whole experience was very chilly, but when we started the interview I felt all I was being asked is why I left my previous jobs and not trying to actually understand my qualities or personality. It was very tense, and I found myself spending 80% of the time explaining about my rolls 5-6 years ago, then we had no time to talk about my current and last job (who are the most relevant for this roll). Surprisingly, I did not pass even this stage.
I applied online. I interviewed at PLAYSTUDIOS (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Dec 2019
Interview
The interviewer was rude, aggressive, judgmental and wasn't concentrated. He was focused on his phone during the whole interview, asking me questions I've already answered.
From his questions it was clear that he hadn't look at my CV before the interview.
I wouldn't want to work with such a manager!
I applied online. I interviewed at PLAYSTUDIOS (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Sep 2020
Interview
Applied online, received response to take a home assignment. I did it and passed. Quite shortly after, I had HR interview. Felt she wasn't excited about me as a candidate. I guess that's where I've failed. About a week or so later I received an email letting me know they proceed with other candidates.
This was the BEST and most FUN home assignment/test I've taken. It was well thought of, well explained and clear to the candidate what they want and why they ask whatever they want you to give an answer to. Nothing is vague or tricky. It's just setting the optimal stage for you as a candidate to show what you have to offer. How you think, if you got eye for details, if you are creative, and so on.
And their HR (not the one to interview me) was super duper nice! (so nice that I actually remember her full name, and that says something!)
