Interview
Had 4 rounds of interview. The interviews went well. All the interview panelists were good.
1. Hiring Manager(Screening) - He was located in US, very cool person. Discussed everything in detail.
2. Technical Interview 1 - Frontend coding problem related to building of component.
3. Technical Interview 2 - Frontend coding problem.
4. Technical Interview 3 - Coding problem related to some array sorting (combined asc and desc) and find a number and its occurences.
I had a bad interview experience only because of the recruiter or hiring panel from India. I don't want to name them here, it took 2 months to complete these 4 interviews. They start ghosting. I tried to reach the recruiter in linkedin, mail, phone call, sms, whatsapp, they would never pick up or respond. I tried to call from a different number, and then they pick and say, your interviews were positive, we will update on the feedback. Hiring manager need to connect and give an update.
At the end I gave up, how much should one wait to schedule the next round. Fed up with such behaviour and replied to one of them -
"I will take this as a No Hire. Thanks **** and ***** for your time. Even if the interviews were positive as I talked to ***** last Wednesday, I don't want to proceed further. Very bad interview experience, with no feedback and updates. Candidate has to constantly follow up for weeks to get interview scheduled and to get updates.Never expected this type of ghosting from recruiters of top MNC like Paypal. Also have never faced this from any other company."
An advice, don't waste your time interviewing in Paypal. Very very bad experience and total waste of time.
