I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PayPal (San Jose, CA)
Interview
Reached out to by a recruiter via LinkedIn gaging my interested. Said I wasn't really looking, but the position sounded interesting. Set me up with an interview with the hiring manager and another person on the team. Interviews were not very structured, but I felt I had good rapport with both of them. Months went by and I never heard anything until 2 months later I got a request to take a survey regarding my experience.

Application
I interviewed at PayPal (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Great interview process for first 3 rounds. Then I met with a VP who showed up 15 minutes late and was texting and emailing during the entire interview. The first 3 rounds I was fortunate to meet with some great individuals, but the last round was such a turn off.
Thank you for your feedback, we're sorry to hear about your experience. We constantly aim to create the best possible candidate experience, but admittedly things can always be improved. Your feedback is valuable and will help us understand how we can evolve our interview process.
Recruiter reached out and had a good conversation. Set me up a meeting with a hiring manager and someone else on the team. After the interviews I never heard from anyone again, and received a rejection email 60 days later. Overall poor experience.

Question 1
Typical questions- tell me about yourself, why do you want to work at PayPal, what would you bring to the role.
Told I was not given the role because I was deemed way too overqualified, but I'm welcome to come back to interview for more senior roles (which never pan out so I went down a step). In any case, couldn't they have told me that upfront?
