Interview
Really long and disjointed process - meeting up to 10 people but for short periods of time. Almost more like speed dating. Questions were repetitive and lacked deep dives; ultimately had to assess what they’re looking for or how to best provide an idea of your fit and skill sets. Felt simultaneously in-depth but very shallow in terms of assessing hard skills such as leadership skills, quantitative, qualitative skills. For the position I was interviewing for it’s not unusual to have to do a quick presentation, for instance; or be probed on leadership style and experience. Follow up is very slow; 2-3 week lag between scheduling each round. Maybe this is how they treat backup candidates, and I was one; and others have much faster experiences? Or they just weren’t in a rush to necessarily add to the team and just wanted to see what was out there. Disappointing experience overall.

Interview
The HR management in Paypal is terribly not well organized. I wasn't given the interview schedule until 6pm the day before the onsite interview. The hiring manager was missed from the schedule. He was indeed in office and was insert last min into the schedule. Also, I was forgotten to be given a case study until the afternoon before the interview date while I was traveling to San Jose and totally not possible to sit down and work on it. Also, the hotel is charged to my credit card, and it has been two months and I still haven't got it reimbursed.

Communication was quick, bring me a couple of times to interview with different people; but hiring decision was quick; Questions were not particular difficult; everyone was friendly. Offer was reasonable.
