The hiring process at PlayStation takes an average of 60 days when considering 1 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Gerente had the quickest hiring process (on average 60 days), whereas Gerente roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 60 days).
Had a phone screen with a recruiter for about 20 mins. The recruiter schedule an interview with the hiring manager a week later. Received an email from recruiter that the HM was sick or something, so had to reschedule for next week. Next week the HM didn't show up again and sent another manager for an interview.. This manager just asked some basic questions and then got an email after few days that experience/skills didn't meet the requirements.
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at PlayStation in May 2019
Interview
HR phone screening followed by technical (1 coding question) phone interview (40 mins). The interviewer was friendly. Codepad was used for remote pairing. At the end of coding he asked about previous projects and experiences.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PlayStation (San Mateo, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
Started with a phone interview with the hiring manager. Consisted with a few behaviorial questions and then a simple coding exercise at the end. Had 3 different phone screens with engineers on the team. First one went over Java syntax. Second one went over my experience working on AWS. Third one also went over AWS and some product related questions. I was scheduled for an onsite interview, but they cancelled the week before because they wanted to proceed with another candidate. I have mixed reviews because the first interviewer told me he would've accepted any job and the third interview told me there are a lot of politics involved. The second interviewer did a good job emphasizing how good it was especially being a gamer. Playstation is one of the best gaming companies out there, but I'm not sure if somewhere I'd want to work.
