I have had 3 phone interviews, each of them last about one hour and are related to technical problems, solving some algorithm problems. Seldom behavior question, some interviewer will ask you to tell yourself a little bit more, some will not.

due to I had 3 interviews, so I cannot remember everything about it. PG cover reservoir sampling, shuffle algorithm and the last one is find the leftmost 1 in a matrix.

it should return 1

I was sent a coding challenge on hacker rank
Next round was one on one virtually with an interviewer.Asked questions on an already typed code. The code was related to a game, and i had to understand what the game did.

They asked me to read an existing code, explain what the code did. Follow up qs on that.

Interview
The interview includes one online assessment and three phone interviews. All of them are technology problem, solving algorithm question. For the interviews except for the last round phone interview, it was good, for the last round phone interview, even I solved the algorithm problem properly, I still got denied, which made me really confused.

Since the whole interview includes 3 rounds and one online assessment, I just list problem I remember:
1. Question about reservoir sampling
2. Question about perfect shuffle
3. Given a 01 matrix, find the leftmost 1.
