I was reached out to by a recruiter and had a phone screen for the position. Only completed the phone screen for now. During the phone screen recruiter walked through the company, recent success for the company, as well as more details on the current role I would be interviewing for.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pocket Gems
Interview
I applied online and got a hanker rank screen within a couple of days. Two fairly difficult dynamic programing questions couldn't solve one and didnt get the optimized version of the other. Code review was easy.
Overall not a fan of hacker rank but there is nothing i can do about it.
Thanks for considering an internship role with Pocket Gems. The programming questions aren't easy, but I'm happy to hear that you were comfortable with the code review portion. I would encourage you to re-engage with us in the future, if there are new opportunities that you are excited about.
I applied online. I interviewed at Pocket Gems (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
I applied online, and got a call from the recruiter within a week. After a positive phone screen, they sent me an assignment with two questions to work on over the weekend. One of them required atleast an intermediate amount of gaming experience. Another one was designed to test our decision making process ("what type of car would you choose"). If my assignment submissions satisfied the PMs I would have a 45 minute interview with a PM and then an onsite with 5 PMs. However they weren't satisfied with my homework analysis so that was that.
