I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pocket Gems in May 2015
Interview
After applying online, you're emailed an online coding test which consists of two problems and must be completed within two hours. Afterwards, you'll meet with an interviewer who asks you a single technical question which you must answer
The interview process is quite long. After applying, I was contacted around ten days later. Scheduling an interview takes a few days and you shouldn't expect an immediate response. The coding test was not particularly difficult, but the application used limits you quite a bit. The recruiter was quite responsive and helpful, but the interviewer seemed somewhat uninterested throughout the entire process, which made the conversation difficult. Their rejection email is pretty curt and one of the most self-important rejections I've ever seen.

Question 1
They seem quite fond of search questions, with two of the three questions asking you to create a graph and find some data.

Interview
Problems are about data structures and algorithms. I had two phone interviews and then were invited to an onsite interview. The problems for phone interviews are normal and I solved them smoothly and got some hints from the interviewer. The problems for onsite interview are also about data structures and algorithms, but there are many followups and complexity problem, which quite difficult.

Interview
Two phone screens, each consisting of some technical questions and then answering questions I have. Took 2 weeks after each phone screen for a reply about next steps, 1st reply was to set up 2nd interview, 2nd was informing me of rejection. Contact with hr/recruiter was very impersonal, I think every email I got was a form email, and I didn't get any feedback about why I was rejected - I got all the technical problems right.
