Interview
I applied the internship through school career service website. Then I got noticed only by three hours ahead the same day that I was going to have an interview. I didn't dress formally and didn't get prepared. At the time I arrived, there were only two people left and they just asked me three questions quickly.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PwC in Nov 2011
Interview
Had a pre-interview night where we met with current PwC partners; it was very informal and a good way to meet your interviewer before the actual interview. The interview itself was very generic. They do their best to make it feel like a conversation. I walked the interviewer through my resume and she asked me specific questions about certain aspects. She invited me to a second round interview during my first interview.
Second round interview is an office visit where you're given a "buddy" to walk you to your interviews with three different people. Also very generic interviews and very conversational.

Interview
The first stage included 4 tests (Verbal, Numerical, English, Accounting). Then I had an interview with a hiring manager, she asked some general questions: about my education, about my teamwork experience, why I decided to be an auditor, why I decided to apply for PwC etc. The third stage consisted of 2 interviews: one with a recruitment manager, one with a director. The questions were similar to the second stage, there was only one or two technical questions.
