I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RBC (Nashua, NH) in Jun 2015
Interview
General interview. The interviewer asked basic questions regarding the University I attended, as well as why I am interested in the financial sector. I didn't receive any financial based questions, however, the position was for an administrative job.
referred by a friends. Tech questions:basic accountings--depreciation and tax effect on the financial statements, wacc computation involving tax, and walk me through an NPV analysis.
No silly behaviors, but challenge on commitment.
Basically it's pretty standard, the young analysts ask the tech questions, and VPs are more focused on your motivation, commitment and your knowledge of industry. Please prepare yourself for a challenge on commitment problem, since VPs seem to worry about whether you can hold on through the terrible hours.
