I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2012
Interview
Two rounds of panel interviews, fairly straightforward. They had a phone interview and then two panel interviews, it was a traditional interview process. It was a little nerveracking interviewing on a panel however that is a standard procedure nowadays
When i applied for the position online, my resume was never picked up by HR. Only when someone recommended for the position did they ever decide to interview me. The interview process was extensive. I think i met with about 12 people; some employees, some consultants, and some external agencies that they currently worked with. It seemed like this position and hire was a bit of a political decision so they wanted to make sure that everyone had a change to weigh in. The whole process to about 2-3 months.
