The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2010
Interview
Interview was quite easy, two interns who would be leaving their positions interviewed me for fit. They started off with the traditional questions (Education, Skills, Career focus, cold calling skills) and then behavioral (how to deal with rude customers, customer dealing, working under pressure). All in all the interview process wasn't too hard at all, very easy going interviewers and it seemed more like a smooth flowing conversation instead of a rigorous interview that most would expect.

Question 1
How would you deal with an abusive customer on the phone?
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RBC (Minneapolis, MN) in Apr 2010
Interview
Basically asked about my interests, why I wanted to work in finance and my background. A few questions about my academics and my future plans. A long time was spent going over the process of cold calling, as it was to be a major portion of my prospective duties. The interview was primarily informal, and seemed more of a test of my affability and interest rather than a hardcore finance interrogation.
