I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at RSM (Detroit, MI) in Sep 2016
Interview
TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!
Contacted by recruiter via email. Shared resume and talked to recruiter on the phone a few times. Interviewed at the office with 3 employees at different levels.
Interview went fairly well. Recruiter called back and said they liked me and my background, but felt I "wasn't interested enough" in the position. So I guess taking time out of your schedule to talk to a recruiter multiple times, being amenable to changes in interview date and time (even a change on the day of), and taking PTO from your current job to meet with them wasn't enough of an interest. I was very interested, but glad it didn't work out.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at RSM (New York, NY) in Jul 2013
Interview
Applied to job posted on website. Received a call from HR and had a screen interview. Then called to arrange face to face interview. Then a second face to face with partners. Then a third face to face with other team members and partners.

Time you had a problem and how did you resolve it?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RSM (Las Vegas, NV) in Jan 2015
Interview
Initial phone call from recruiter followed by interview with partner, lunch with staff, and interviews with two senior managers. The interviews for the most part had a very informal tone. A lot of small talk with the sense that they were trying to get a feel for my personality as much as my experience.
