I applied online. I interviewed at Refinery29 in May 2016
Interview
I was contacted a few days after submitting my application and asked to do a basic test assignment. I completed that and sent it back the next day. About a week and a half later, I received a response and invitation for an interview. There were basic background questions and others more specific to the role. They said they would be in touch within a few days. I followed up a week later and got a response that they were still working through things on their end but would let me know. Two weeks later, the posting was gone and I never heard back one way or another.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Refinery29 (New York, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
Had and initial phone interview, was given a case study and then met with 2 people, another manager and an SVP, to present and discuss the case study. The interview experience was fine, they gave very positive feedback and told me they wanted me to come back in and meet with additional team members and would be in contact soon. I sent a thank you email directly after my interview and a follow up email a couple of weeks later. Now, almost 3 months later, no response at all. They took my proposal presented in the case study and used it online about a month later. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Refinery29
Interview
Had a very positive conversation and was told I'd be coming back for a second round and also be given an assignment. Followed up, radio silence. Followed up again, nothing. It's been over a month and I have yet to get a response. Even if I wasn't the preferred candidate, it's unprofessional to ignore follow up emails. I'm so disappointed by this company and the experience.
