I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Riot Games
Interview
Really great process – super friendly interviews, extremely responsive recruiter, and pretty transparent timeline. There was a phone screen I think for culture fit, two first round interviews (culture + tech) that I had in person, and then 3 back-to-back virtual onsite interviews on tech, product/process, and collaboration/leadership.

Question 1
What's something you would tell yourself five years ago if you could travel back in time?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Riot Games (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2018
Interview
- Call with HR lead
- Call with Engineering Manager (cultural fit)
- Call with Engineers (tech)
- Onsites (1 tech, 1 process/product, 1 leadership and collaboration)
- Offer
A huge emphasis on collaboration, leadership, and cultural values. Tech was fairly easy although deep-dives onto all sorts of subjects to test your breadth. All interviews were 2-on-1 except for the initial HR screen. Afterwards, recruiter will reach out to you to explain offer details and expectations.
Always super clear on what to expect for next steps, and pretty fast feedback. Enjoyable process overall.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to receive difficult feedback
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Riot Games in Oct 2018
Interview
First round was a 2 hour hackerrank, where they asked questions that built off each other. Then the second round was a 30 minute phone sync-up where you talk to a recruiter.
