I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Rockstar Games (New York, NY)
Interview
The first round of the interview process (I think for anyone applying) is a recorded interview generated from a website called MyInterview. You're not talking to anyone. You sign in and there will be prompted questions "What's your biggest weakness" and you will have 2-3 minutes to record/complete the question. There are several of these. On the screen you will see the video of you being recorded (like a zoom) and a big count down clock of your time remaining. I don't understand this choice or process because I don't think it sets up anyone for success.
I interviewed at Rockstar Games (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2026
Interview
First was video interview. Different than HireVue. Gave me 2 tries per question. About 6 questions total. First 3 were generally about my experience. Unfortunately, did not move forward in recruitment process.

Question 1
How do you feel production supports long-term licensing goals for Rockstar?
Straightforward and transparent. I had two conversations with the recruiting team, and then one conversation with the team. All were very supportive and friendly. They asked engaging questions as well.
I went through 3 interviews for this position and then was ghosted. I reached out multiple times and never received a response from the recruiter or an explanation. Don't mind if I didn't get it but if someone is that deep in the interview process the polite thing to do is to inform them of the results.
