I got an interview through a recruiting event on campus. They contacted me a week after I spoke with them. The interview was pretty much like any other... suit and tie, asked why I wanted to work for Schlumberger, why I wanted to be a field engineer, etc.

It was a very basic conversation style virtual call after I had a submitted my application and gotten an email response. I spoke to a recruiter as well as my direct manager and was asked basic questions about my resume and experience.

I talked to representatives at a career fair and gave them my resume, then I applied online. it took two months but I got an interview. It was very easy-going, simple STAR style questions. Just be personable not like a robot.

The interview process was very smooth and professional, the interviewer was also very friendly. There is usually 2 interviews, once passing the first you are notified about the second. After the interviews, the onboarding steps are explained very clearly.

-Technical questions regarding my engineering major was asked. (ie: What is the first,second, and third laws of thermodynamics? What are the different types of reactors?)
