I applied for the role of Campaign Executive, but was offered another role. It made sense as I had more work experience for the recommended role. However, when I applied the recommend role the next day, I received a email reply stating that there are too many applicants. I'm confused as to why the HR person recommended a job which is already oversubscribed.
Almost all of my friends who applied for Shopee were offered a different role to the one they applied for. None of them got into a face-to-face interview.
