Shopee Regional Operations Associate interview questions

I was reached out by an in-house recruiter for this position. First interview was phone screen and after getting to know about me we discussed about the various teams within the Regional Operations division. I immediately picked my preference out of the few choices as I thought it was the most suitable based on my skillset. The recruiter was nice and engaging throughout the phone screen The second part of the interview is SQL/Python coding assessment that is to be done in one seating in the span of 1.5 hours. They're pretty basic and the Python questions are basically testing on your pandas/numpy/regex knowledge and not anything to do with leetcode problems(algorithms and what-not). I repeat, leetcode problems(except for the SQL ones) will not help you with this. The assessment is done in an online IDE and I do NOT recommend moving to other questions without trying to solve the current one. I tried that and when I moved back to the previous question I was stuck in, the syntax coloring disappears and it becomes harder to read the code. If you want to practice for Python, consider downloading and manipulating kaggle datasets for your own analysis. For SQL, i suggest leetcode(easy and medium) and hackerrank practice questions should be sufficient. The third interview is with a team lead. Additional background screening and case study. This is consistent with the 4th and 5th interview with another team lead and the head respectively. Be warned that when they say case study, it CAN BE ANYTHING and not just specific to the role your have applied for! So i suggest reading through the interview prompts that has been posted by past interviewees in this platform and answer each and every one of them on your own. The case study questions are extremely open-ended and they just want to understand your thought process in your attempt to solve the problem. You are not expected to come up with a solution if you clearly do not have any experience pertaining to the case study question. But you are expected to put in a great deal of effort in your attempt. If you are not clear with the question, ask again. It will be embarrassing to provide a response to a misunderstood question. The first two interviewers (team leads) were pretty nice and understanding. These are the people that I suppose I will be directly working with so I have great impressions about them. The last interview was rather nerve-wrecking as the case study question that was asked was completely not anything I expected with regards to the role I applied for. Overall not a bad experience although I would prefer a revision of the coding assessment
