I was contacted about a week after applying online to set up a phone interview. The initial screening was super quick – no more than 15 minutes, if that. The recruiter just wanted to know a little background about me and why I was interested in the position. Three days after that, I was invited to participate in the "Life Story" interview with the same recruiter. I ended up deciding accepting an opportunity at my current company and withdrawing my application before going any further in the process, but I have to say that Shopify provided one of the best interview processes I've ever experienced. From the thorough communication to the online scheduling system to the landing page detailing every step in the process, I have to commend their talent team for an experience that speaks to the quality of the organization.
