Shopify Software Engineer interview questions

Applied online, no contact with a real person, just an email about scheduling a coding interview. Coding interview went fine, so I thought, easy LRU cache problem. , It was of the entry-level problem type, without much diving into actual experience building a product. It took a few days, but I got rejected at that stage, without any explanation why (just the typical HR speek of "doesn't fit to what we're looking at right now"), which was surprising as I am on a Staff Engineer level with lots of Ruby experience Recruiter refused to give specific feedback, even if asked directly. Total waste of my time.

The first coding round was too easy. I failed on the next step - Life Story interview. Still don't understand what was the purpose of this round and what they are looking for.
