I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Slack (New York, NY) in May 2021
Interview
Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter for an initial call to learn about my background and provide details around the opportunity with Slack.
Thereafter I had a technical conversation with the Hiring manager which went well since I was requested to complete a take home assessment.
The next day the recruiter sent a note saying that they have decided to proceed with another candidate.
I requested for feedback on the change of decision but was ghosted by the recruiter.

Technical conversations around my projects and decision making during implementation
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slack (Toronto, ON) in May 2021
Interview
Pre-screen with HR, followed by an hour long interview with the hiring manager. Next is a CV review with the hiring manager and their colleagues, followed by an hour long presentation to a director, the same hiring manager, and additional colleagues.
Waited a week to get a generic "sorry but no" with no feedback provided (after constant positive feedback throughout), despite the email beginning with thanking me for the time so they could gather feedback. As others have mentioned, for a communications company, they really lacked on this front.

Question 1
For the CV review, they will ask for feedback on each role from your managers. For the presentation, be prepared to handle objections and defend your assumptions. The interviews contain general questions (why do you want to work here, what skills do you have) but the presentation is where they will ask specifics on how you would handle and prepare yourself for specific situations.
My resume was screened and then I did a phone screen with the recruiting manager. It was a very straightforward interview where they were looking to see how well my experience aligned with the more granular details of what they're looking for.
