Springer Nature Operations Assistant interview questions

A brief telephone screen followed by a face-to-face interview. Interviewed by 2 staff members that were reading from a script the whole time and seemed thoroughly uninterested in what i had to say, followed by 20 minutes spent writing an email to a scientist to apologise for why their article was returned 2 months late. Pretty average interview save for the unenthusiastic interviews- my advice would be to try and take an active interest in what the candidate is saying. Also never heard back from them, at least a rejection email would be nice.
