I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tapad in Feb 2017

They ask you to complete a coding test. The Code works and is valid java. Yet it would not compile on the coding site due to me apparently not being able to alter the standard packages. I thought "no big deal, they'll see what I pasted works." I even gave t hem a heads up through the recruiter. They got back to me and won't be moving forward since it would not compile on the site. What a joke. Dont' waste your time with a short sited nasty company that expects to sit back and have candidates jump through hoops. There is a reason 90% of good software company don't do a challenge like this right out of the gate.
Interview schedule was well planned with standard questions- no complaints; only positive things to say of actual in-person interview.
My issue is with HR/Recruiting. They were out of tune the entire process. First missed my scheduled phone screen interview, then rescheduled for a week later & called a half hour late. Then were not in touch for 3 weeks until I emailed saying "I'm assuming you've moved on". Then didn't follow up after in-person interview for 2 weeks, despite my follow up emails. Very frustrating and in my opinion unprofessional.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tapad (Pittsburgh, PA) in Nov 2016

Firstly, we talked a little bit about resume. Then, I am asked some basic data structure problems. Then HR will ask you whether you have any questions. You will have the opportunity to do the OA.
