I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Ithaca, NY) in Apr 2016
Interview
There were a series of 3 interviews, with 3 different managers. They ask a lot of questions specifically about your previous work experience, what your hobbies and what integrity/ legendary service means to you. Each interview took about 15-20 mins, they were all scheduled about a week apart. Even though the process was long, if they wanted you... They offered you the position at the end of your last interview. The new hire training/ orientation was a fun experience!!

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Wilmington, NC) in Nov 2012
Interview
Handed in my application, got a phone call to interview with a shift manager who asks about experience, then an interview with managing partner who decides if you will be a good fit for the company based on the culture and your relevant job experience. Overall it is a casual process and not hard at all.
