I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Corona, CA) in Jun 2014
Interview
Had a three part interview with different managers of the store. Final interview was with the general manager, where you receive a job offer. Managers that interviewed were two kitchen managers, and 1 service manager, followed by the gm, where they all asked questions regarding, food service, and customer interaction.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Oklahoma City, OK) in Jan 2012
Interview
It was relaxed and comfortable. You will meet with 2 people in 2 separate 1:1 interviews. They want to get to know you as a person not just your background. It is preferred to have serving experience but not required. Be enthusiastic and outgoing, along with recollection of a positive experience you had a Roadhouse and your favorite dish.

Interview
It was a really easy interview but I was told that I would start as a host. I applied online and got a call back the same day. I went in for a face to face interview and was offered the job after I was asked a few questions. I did not immediately accept it and told them I needed some time to think about it. But called them a couple days later and accepted the job. Although to be a server you must pass written knowledge tests and if you fail you can't serve.
