I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Huntsville, AL) in Aug 2012
Interview
The initial communication was lacking by playing phone tag with the managers. They take a few weeks to call you back after you've been hired. Training was lacking as well as communication. It's a fast paste environment with a large staff, so communication and training needed to be up to par. There are two interviews one before training ( the initial interview) and one after training ( the review interview). This was new for me and I completely appreciated it.

Interview
Applied for the job, went in for an interview, arrived early, waited for about 30 minutes for other people to finish up their interview. I was asked one question. I was asked only one question and was offered the job right on the spot
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Walpole, MA) in Dec 2014
Interview
Had a friend refer me, went in to meet the manager was told to apply online. Applied online Sunday, got a call the next day to interview Wednesday. Went in for the interview and was told I would hear back by Saturday. Didn't hear back so I called on Sunday to find out that I didn't get the job. I believe I didn't get the job because I am an older woman.
