It was messy, in the screening email they asked when was I able to start I wrote mid July, but then during the interviewing process they suddenly interrupted my questions and said they want someone fully onsite in May. They didn’t reject me but ghosted me.

Question 1
What is your xxxx experience about (resume walk through)
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TikTok (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2021
Interview
Very strange experience. The first person I video interviewed with spoke about themselves the entire time and about what they did in the company and their past jobs, for a solid 25 minutes! And without asking me if I had any questions. At one point I asked if they had any questions about my previous experience or about me in general and they said "No I'm good". After thinking that they had already rejected me based on that initial interview, they contacted me again stating that I was going to the next round but at that point I decided to pull myself out of the process. I had a friend have a very similar experience in their interview process as well! Their whole talent and hiring process seems very unorganized, I'm glad I dodged a bullet there.
They respond fast and they were very chill and nice during the interview. At first I was nervous but they started off by conversing with me and i started feeling comfortable afterwards. Really pleasant experience.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at TikTok
Interview
The interview was manageable, with questions directly tied to my previous experience. The interviewers were friendly, offering clear insights into the job's demands. In sum, a pleasant and enjoyable interview.
