Proactively reached out, set up a discussion, then ghosted me. Understand business priorities change but gave scatter gun impression i.e. reach out to as many people as possible to hedge bets - felt a bit unprofessional.
5 rounds of interview, really anxious, but HR and managers were all pretty chill and friendly. Two rounds were with higher management, the last interview was pretty easy and the manager was in China, didn't ask too much question during that round
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (Singapura) in Aug 2025
Interview
The interview process felt quite disappointing — the first round was extremely fast-paced, almost like a checklist exercise where you barely finish your introduction before being told to prepare for the next round. By the second interview, the atmosphere shifted completely; it felt as though the outcome was already decided, and you were just there to “complete the process.” Instead of a fair and engaging conversation, it came across more like a formality, which was disheartening for a company known for its creativity and human connection.
