I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Montreal, QC) in Aug 2020
Interview
I sent my CV through Ubisoft's recruiting page. 11 days later the recruiter contacted me for a first phone call, which happened 4 days later. The questions were about my background, experience, job expectation, etc. After that the recruiter sent me a link for a technical test. The test looks generic, with questions from a wide variety of subjects, like Operating Systems, Computer Graphics, programming, network, 3D Math, etc. The questions were quite simple , most regarding basic subjects on its areas.
I received the answer from the recruiter 21 days later, inviting me for a second interview, now with programmers of the team I would be joining. The interview happened 6 days later. I was asked about past projects, what I've done, and had to explain technical parts of it. There weren't many technical questions.
I got the answer to the interview 1 day later asking me to join the team. The job offer was sent 2 days later.
