I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Bucareste, ) in Jan 2015
Interview
There are a total of three phases, as follows:
a)First off, there are two technical tests:
- A 5 day one ( the first one)
- A 3 hour one (the second one)
b)A technical interview via Skype (with their Senior Game Designers)
c)On-site interview with HR to discuss about the financial part (transportation was paid by them)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All questions were related to the last test (the 3 hour one)
Horrible HR, sent me a google calendar invite without even contacting me before hand. During the meeting they were moving around the studio, losing connection, and I could hardly hear their voice. They don't respect the people they are interested in.
For a first interview with a HR person, it became a technical interview right away and they obviously didn't know what they were talking about but asking additional questions, without having a real understanding of what we were talking about.

Question 1
Technical questions, many of them, during the first HR interview
It was a brief chat to understand my level of game design and perception. We had a simple discussion on soft and hard currency. It was relatively a fun discussion overall

Question 1
What type of soft currency was used in your previous game?
I interviewed at Ubisoft (Newcastle upon Tyne, Inglaterra)
Interview
it was slow, but easy in every aspect, don't be scared of their questions. Everyone who interviews is great at what they do. The recruiters are very slow at getting back to you.
