I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Greenville, SC) in Feb 2015
Interview
There were few questions asked, I was only there about 5 minutes. Basic questions were asked but I felt comfortable with my interviewer. I made sure to present myself well as this company values beauty. I feel as long as your makeup looks nice and you have a positive attitude you will be hired.

Interview
Got a call about a month later to come in for an interview. Interview was held in these teeny back office with the asst. manager and manager. asked the usual questions. was told I'd be working the floor/register but it seemed all they wanted people for was to unload shipments. The manager made it very clear that her job was to not work the register, like she seemed above it or something. I was not offered a job, but if I was I would've declined.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Dallas, TX)
Interview
The manager was very friendly and I loved the atmosphere. It was about ten minutes and she offered me the job. Very lax. She told me that the store is very open when it comes to hair color and tattoos, and that she was going to dye hers bright pink soon. Very easy, unfortunately it was too far away from my home. She offered me 8.50/hr which was a really big drop from my last job.
