It was great interview, great company to work for. Spent many years working there in different roles. Lots of internal mobility to move between departments and managers are supportive of career development initiatives.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Unilever (Chicago, IL) in May 2023
Interview
Very negative candidate experience. Phone screen followed by 2 video interviews by hiring manager and another manager. The recruiter never provided updates for 4 weeks straight since the last interview, unless it was followed up by the candidate, to which she would always reply “update by end of the week”. When they reached a decision, the recruiter personally sent an obviously copy-pasted template for rejection, seemingly without personal regard for candidate’s efforts and time to complete the process, and without apology for leaving the candidate in the dark for 4 weeks despite the promised timelines.
