Phone interview and 6 months on the job doing a project that turned out to be an ongoing assessment of my tech skills more than anything. Also, they were observing how we worked as a team in addition to our technical expertise. So rather than relying on absurd tech interview questions, they got to know who I was and how I actually coded.
