I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (New York, NY) in Sep 2020
Interview
This was one of the most inefficient frustrating interview processes I have been through. Lack of communication from hiring manager AND recruiter. Over a month between interviews with absolutely no word or update from anyone. And the kicker? I already work for this company. I was applying for a job on another team, and I still couldn't get any word or information back from anyone. I was interested in the job material but not so much about the existing team members as I already had great chemistry on my current team. After taking 2.5 months for only one call with the recruiter, half hour interview with the manager, and one long interview with other team members I never even heard officially from the recruiter or manager that they were not going to make an offer. I heard from my current manager who heard from the other manager in a casual conversation. Seriously if you apply be prepared for a long process before you get an offer...seriously up to 5 months. And be prepared for radio silence at times.
It was hacker rank test at first with 3 coding questions and multiple choice questions. They are pretty easy. Next there is a phone round with Hiring manager who is a Director. I interviewed with an VISA org called MAPPD. The phone call lasted for 15-20 mins. The director told me that they would call me in couple of days but I never received the call. The recruiting team don't respond to emails. It felt like the position was already fixed and provided to some internal candidate.
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Singapura)
Interview
They asked me to submit my resume to a hiring platform and it tooks almost 2 months for the Visa Innovation Lab in Singapore to respond to me the result. What could make it so slow?
