I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Bengaluru) in Oct 2018
Interview
I got the call through a consultancy, it started with a hackerrank test, which they had shared with me couple of days before the face to face round.
There were total 5 rounds which I attended among which the last one was managerial round.
They had asked me various questions on MVC, WCF and WEB API .
Overall interview experience was good and HR kept on telling me that there is a positive feedback from their side. She asked me to be ready with payslips and other documents. Then next week there was no response from their end. I kept on calling them like a fool, but didn't get any response from HR. Finally when she picked my call, she said she will let me know soon. Same story continued for another 2 weeks until I heard the final feedback from HR that they wouldn't be proceeding with my candidature (after 3 weeks ). This is something really unprofessional and never expected from a company like Visa. Sincere suggestion is don't waste your valuable time by attending interview with Visa. They don't have even basic courtesy to inform the candidate about the feedback by email or phone even after a candidate spends 4+ hours interviewing.

Interview
Applied online, got an email from a recruiter to schedule an online coding interview with a Director. The director was very unpleasant, we directly jumped to the coding exercise which consisted of 1 question. The question was quite ambiguous and vague without any use cases and there with a lot of assumptions to be made. I successfully covered all cases but the interviewer told me that I should have made all the assumptions before starting so that we could avoid back and forth and was asking me to come up with real-life uses cases instead of providing one. Well, I believe when asking a very open-ended question, one should be able to discuss and write the solution rather than have everything pre-planned. At the end of the call, the interviewer told me good luck on the job search. Such a waste of time. Seriously this is not a proper tech company and I am glad I didn't get through. One word to describe - Unprofessional!!
