I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Bengaluru) in Oct 2024
Interview
1. Started with a recruiter conversation that lasted for 30mins.
2. Post that 2-3 rounds of interviews along with Hiring manager interview.
3. The hiring manager was Sourabh Pandey who handles Authorize Net. He was very impatient. He didn't let me finish even one sentence while answering interviews. I have 3 years of experience with a PhD in payment related domain. Still, he was interrupting me after every sentence and not even letting me speak. Even when I was explaining about some previous products I have worked, before even completing, he was like "I don't feel like that is the right solution". The interview was set up for 30mins, After 15 mins itself, he said he is running short of time and asked if I have any questions. I wanted to know more about the role to which his answer was "Didn't you read the job description? If not, go and read the job description".
I would't have joined that team even if they would have rolled out an offer.
Long interview process before making a decision. This makes it very difficult for a person to get the position. Interview with average of 5-7 people and three phases. Also, to receive the feedback from the recruiter you have to constantly follow up.

Interview
Recruiter call went well, then was scheduled to meet with the Hiring Manager. Overall interview was not difficult, just may have not been a match. Was not selected to move forward, but when I asked for feedback was ghosted by the recruiter.
