I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Visa Inc. in Sep 2024
Interview
consists of one coding round and 2 technical rounds in our on-campus drive. coding round had 4 questions with 4 difficulty level, and i cleared 2 questions to get selected for the interview. The interview was fully technical asking core concepts in CS and also asking to do coding questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
focus on core concepts such as data structures (arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, hash tables), and fundamental algorithms like sorting, searching, and dynamic programming, with a clear understanding of time and space complexity. Brush up on operating system concepts like processes, threads, memory management, and deadlocks. Master networking basics such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS, along with database topics like SQL, joins, and normalization. Be well-versed in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles such as encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism.
I applied online and then received an email from the recruiter that asked a few questions. I was then sent a link to their Codesignal online assessment which seemed pretty typical. This is followed by a phone screen with the recruiter, then a 45-minute coding session interview, a 45-minute "development best practices" interview, and finally a 45-minute Hiring Manager behavioral interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Code Signal online assessment questions that are typical leetcode style problems.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Bellevue, WA) in Sep 2024
Interview
First round - code signal. It was four questions in seventy minutes. It was not that bad honestly. Data Structure and Algorithms focused. Do as much leetcode as you can. Good luck!
