I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Bengaluru) in Jul 2023
Interview
Total 3 rounds 1st Round - Initial assessment & Technical Round - 1 hour. 2nd Round - Technical Round - 1 hr 30 mins Post 1st & 2nd Rounds, HR came back and said the feedback was positive ; hence going to proceed with Hiring Manager Round which is last round. Hiring Manager round - 1 hr 30 mins No response post HM round and when i checked with HR for Feedback, response was the HM feedback was not positive. - The panel is clueless and no clarity on what they require.
Despite the positive experience during the team lead interview and the smooth process facilitated by the online interview platform, the third interview with my fellow team member left me feeling dissatisfied due to the interviewer's lack of friendliness and apparent disinterest in the conversation.

describe technical stuff that was done previously and challenges faced
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Visa Inc. in Mar 2023
Interview
It feels like a burn and churn style of interview. Apparently Visa has to interview 5 people to fill a role. You can get through the process and then realize the team decided to make do with a candidate they already interviewed. None of the interviewers were particularly excited or into the process. Unengaged seemed to be a common trend for some of these folks. There were three rounds. First round was with a hiring manager who barely had any real meaningful questions or seem engaged at all. Second round was a "technical round" which was just a vague ask and a talk about your experience session with two people on the team. I honestly thought they would just cut it off at the technical round because I wasn't particularly feeling a connection with the individuals I spoke with but was surprised to get a call to do the final director level interview. The interviewers will lie to your face, they will say stuff like "oh when you join" and try and make it sound like you have the position. I wasn't interviewing to actually accept their offer, but more just to stay fresh on the market. The compensation discussed was less than my current role. There were moments in the process were it seemed clear as day how antiquated and hierarchical Visa was. Things like "tons of red tape" or "folks considering themselves separate from the corporation" etc. Also the way the organization structure was described sounded out of date.
