Interview
First, typical short call from HR. Then, hackerrank online test (mix of algorithm, coding, and sql test)
Second, online interview with the hiring manager - technical and behavioral questions
Third and final round is technical interviews with the engineers from the team asking few algorithm/coding questions.
Then, they ghost you.
HR doesn't even bother to reply the follow-up email I sent after a week. Visa has terrible HR practice. After a candidate has spent time and effort to work through all rounds of interviews, the least they could do is say YES or NO. It is that simple.

I applied online . The process took 6+ months.There was a phone screen round, followed by a hackerank test on clearing that there were 3 technical rounds and 2 managerial rounds. The recruiter was gem of a person who guided me very well and answered all my queries

I applied online. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Austin, TX) in Jun 2019
Interview
I have interviewed with Visa in mid 2019 mid. Gave multiple interviews in different teams mostly Austin TX and Colorado teams. I reached final rounds for 3 different teams, 2 Senior SE and 1 Staff SE position.
Call with recruiter followed by usual HackerRank.One round with SE, followed by 5 rounds of final interview 45 minutes each. Atleast 7 hours of wasted time with 3 teams. Total 21 hours.
Most of the interviews seemed fake to me, like there was no interest to interview me. Most of the interviewer came late to the call and atleast 2 of each 5 final interviewers where different people from the one named in the emails. They were totally un-prepared and you can see that when they ask you tell me about yourself while reading your resume. Most of them admitted that one who was supposed to interview forwarded them to take this interview just now. They were late to the call since they had to copy one leetcode problem for you to solve.
I will say don't waste you time here. Most of the Senior and staff position posted online are for Green card or Perm process, where they had to show that they interviewed people before they reject you. There was no position empty to fill, it was just to show the Government.
You can only get into Visa if you are Grad hire and start with them early in your career. Rest most of the Senior and Staff positions are fake ones.
Followed up with different recruiters after 21 hours with 3 teams. 2 Ghosted me. 1 replied after 3 weeks that the team has moved into different direction.
