I applied online. I interviewed at Wargaming (Sydney) in Jan 2021
Interview
I received an email from wargaming requesting feedback in relation to my availability for a behavioural interview.
I presumed that the email required a response to the above mentioned request, with my availability, so I responded in kind.
My response was unable to elicit further communication.

What time are you available for a 20 minute behavioural chat?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Wargaming (Nicósia, Nicósia) in Mar 2026
Interview
I had a very disappointing experience with the initial interview process at this company.
After applying for the role about a month earlier, I was finally invited to a screening interview with HR. Unfortunately, the conversation felt unprofessional and unnecessarily confrontational from the beginning. Instead of focusing on my technical background or experience relevant to the role, the recruiter spent a significant amount of time asking questions that felt unrelated or intrusive, such as why I moved from one country to another and questioning short transitions between roles from many years ago.
Some of these questions referred to events that happened over a decade ago in my early career The tone of the conversation felt more judgmental than curious, which made the interview uncomfortable and not particularly productive.
Overall, the discussion did not focus on the skills, experience, or the role itself. It left me with the impression that the recruitment process lacks professionalism and respect for candidates' time and career paths.
I hope the company reviews its interview approach, as the first interaction with candidates strongly shapes the perception of the organization.
