I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Wiley
Interview
I did not seek out a position with Wiley. They found me for a role which was not yet publicized. They set up a call and for 30 minutes the recruiter told me about the job. After the call, emailed me the draft of the JD and said the ball is in my court.
I responded and followed up and NOTHING. Not even a courtesy “thanks but we changed direction. “ it’s been weeks. Not holding my breath of course, but not a good experience with Wiley. A recruiter is a representative of the company.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wiley (Orlando, FL) in Mar 2018
Interview
There were around 10 candidates in the same room. A few employees from Wiley came into the room and talked to us about the different opened internship position such as SEO, analyst and design. After their introduction, we had the opportunity to talk to the ones we like individually or in a small group setting, and they called this "the networking session". Then they gave us a tour of the company. After the tour, they told us that we are done and will receive their decision soon.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Wiley
Interview
Very long process, you need patience! Hr took a long time to get back after first and second interview. Met with key people involved with the role and they were able to answer my questions and describe what they wanted. It's a very corporate and bureaucratic environment and that shines through in the interview process.
