Interview
This selection process was for the Wipro Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) domain. It was a day long process. There were four rounds. All were elimination rounds except one that is the Essay Writing I guess because no one was seen being eliminated in that round. The first round was GD of a group of 10 each. Topics were easy enough (general social topics) and this round was basically to test the verbal communication skill of the candidate. Many were eliminated though. The second was the online test. Most cleared the test followed by the essay writing. The test consisted of multiple choice questions from general aptitude and analytical ability & technical questions from Data Structures, DBMS, OOPS & English (synonyms, antonyms, spot the error, sentence completion) of fairly easy standard. The final round was the HR Interview round. Again most who made to this stage went on to clear the interview, very less were rejected. No technical questions were asked (since the candidates have had attempted technical questions in the online test already) but only usual HR questions. Approximately 50 were selected out of 150 total candidates that appeared.
