      Operations Manager Interview

      Sep 6, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zara (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2018

      Interview

I applied the first week of August. Then I was reached out by the regional recruiter and scheduled for a one on one interview. She was really good and asked me some things to get to know me personally and not straight to questions about the job and experiences. It was a good conversation on both sides. We exchanged questions, expectations and how we would handle situations. Then I got an email that I will be interviewing with the Regional Operations Manager which is located in Los Angeles through facetime. 10 minutes had past, I didn’t get a call. They didn’t give me a number so I emailed the recruiter if there was some problems or anything like that. She asked me if we could do it the following day instead. So I agreed. The next day, the regional called but the connection was not good to do a facetime. So we did a phone interview. She’s been in a company for a long time and was moved to different positions and locations. However, I don’t feel like she gets where I used to work. She was asking me quite a lot if I can handle working in a fast paced environment. I worked for Nordstrom’s and Nordstrom Rack. Zara is probably in the middle of those two businesses in terms of being fast paced. Any way, I waited for almost 2 weeks but I didn’t hear from them. I emailed the recruiter for a follow up but nothing. I just checked my account online and my application was disregarded. The position looks like it has been filled. Being one of the largest retailer, they should’ve called applicants either they did or didn’t get the position.
