I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Zara (Vancouver, BC) in May 2014
Interview
I applied in person and was given a call back 2 days later. They were really nice and efficient in the interview. It wasn't delayed or anything. I have applied to other places where I waited for more than 30 minutes before being interviewed. The manager asked about my past experiences as well as why I want to work there.

Question 1
Know the history of Zara before you go in. They will ask about your fashion knowledge and your own style.
lengthy and tedious, i don't see that a fashion sense is a requirement to gain employment. was ghosted as far as follow-up communication. did not ask many questions about past retail experience

super casual, just stand in front of a store,

like, job posting mentioned that hiring the full time sales, they actually hire the 2 months contract sales and part time
Visited the store and inquired about hiring opportunities. I was connected with the hiring manager and completed a straightforward in-person interview. The process was professional, welcoming, and provided insight into the role.
