I found it odd in the second stage interview which was for the position of Personal Assistant, that they kept asking questions about customers, when it was not a customer facing role. I asked if by customer, they meant the person i would be assisting, but they said they meant customers in general. Very strange and nothing to do with the role I had applied for.
Usual questions like: why did you apply here? Why should we hire you? And so on.. very typical questions and no tests.
What could you say about previous experience?
Can you describe a time when you made a mistake and what you learned from this mistake?
Please give an example of when you have had to deal with a difficult client
They were interested in experiences of minute taking as well as owning up to when you make a problem in a busy environment
They asked a question based on one of their values, “we do the right thing”.
