bp Graduate Credit Risk Analyst interview questions

Standard big company graduate process- CV screening, situational judgement testing, numerical and logical testing, then 'one way' interview, followed by assessment centre in the final round to select the successful candiate. However, I completed the 'one way' interview as soon as I received the email inviting me to but to shortly after learn from a friend inside T&S at BP that they had already conducted the assessment centre. I emailed the HR contact I had querying how long i could expect to wait to hear back as to whether I'd go to the assessment centre or not (fishing to see if they'd be honest and explain that they had already selected the candiate. I was told 'we will be assessing the applications next week' (a lie) then they just opted to ghost me and never get in touch again. bearing in mind this is the latter stages of the process and I've invested a fair few hours at this point I'd say that this was pretty poor behaviour from BP.
