Interview
I recently went through the interview process at BP, and it was a mixed experience. The technical coding round was challenging, which is expected for a company of BP's caliber. However, I appreciated the opportunity to showcase my skills. The Managerial round was positive, with the interviewer displaying professionalism and expertise in their role. It was a productive discussion that left me with a favorable impression of the company culture. My frustration arose afterward, during the post-interview phase. Unfortunately, there were communication issues with HR. After the Managerial round, I expected a follow-up or feedback, but I struggled to reach the HR department. It would have been helpful to receive timely updates on my application status. Additionally, it's worth noting that BP seems to have outsourced its HR services to a third-party agency called 'Coforge.' My experience with Coforge was less than satisfactory. Communication was inconsistent, and there seemed to be a lack of coordination between the company and the agency. This further compounded the challenges I faced in the post-interview phase. I believe BP has the potential to provide a great candidate experience, but improvements in communication and transparency during the post-interview phase, especially with the third-party HR agency, are urgently needed. This constructive feedback is intended to help the company enhance its recruitment process for future candidates.

Create a linkedin based on a given pattern using preferred language.
An awful experience, applied through a recruiter, where it take them ages to respond. I applied through the agency on med of May and heard their final response on 9th of July. The process started with the first stage technical test about B tree and Linked lists. The second stage, first they sent me a wrong interview, and the interviewer there 10 minutes late for the wrong interview 😂. It toke them more than 2 weeks after the wrong interview, to reschedule the correct second stage interview. Where the first hour was technical question, the guy was nice and if you know your field and prepared nothing to worry about. However, during the technical questions there were some behavioural questions. After the first hour technical question, I another 2 joined the call and start asking behavioural question, although the guys were friendly, the interview were so long, as it last almost 1 hour 45 minutes. The last stage interview was just over an hour, and it was purely technical, about cache and performance. It is worth to mention after they sent the wrong interview for the second stage, they moved my application to a sister company. The process is annoying, because you have to wait weeks between the interview stages. Also, I had to chase the recruiter a lot, by emails and calls to get a feedback. After many weeks of chasing the recruiter to get a response. I had my response "it is NO for you", that's it. It is annoying to go through such process and get such feedback without any explanation from one of the biggest company in the UK.
