An airport employee checked a group of passengers through security on Thursday. On Friday, she checked three times as many passengers, and on Saturday she processed 5,000 passengers through security. In the 3 days, she processed 15,000 passengers. How many did she process on Friday?

My interviewer focused on five or six key subjects (i.e. coding, performance, security, databases, data structures, etc.) and kept asking questions within each topic with incrementally more difficulty to see how deep my knowledge went in each area. I don't think this is the standard process, but it certainly left me thinking I didn't get the job until I got a call back. lol Overall, I thought it was a pretty effective process but I only conducted the occasional interview for D2L so I'm not %100 on what the "official" process is now (or if it is even standardised!)

Asked me a question about finding the middle of Java's doubly linked list, finding the middle of Custom Linked List which didn't have the size method. Reversing a String. One SQL question about using Joins to get matching data from Employee and Manager table. Then one problem solving question about handshakes where 2 people was 1 handshake, 3 people was 3 handshakes, 4 people was 6 handshakes, etc....
